Robert V. Brazell, Executive Chairman
In addition to serving as Executive Chairman on InStore Broadcasting Network and InTouch, Rob is also the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner of Talos Partners. He was the founder and founding board member of Overstock.com (NASDAQ:OSTK) and also served as the company's president and chief executive officer. Brazell has been the owner of several Internet properties including eHow.com (www.ehow.com), a content and search site; Delphi.com (www.delphiforums.com), the Internet's first discussion group community; and Sandbox.com (www.sandbox.com), the Internet's largest fantasy sports site. He is also the controlling owner and chairman of the board of data tracking companies Live Global Bid (www.liveglobalbid.com) and VinIQ (www.viniq.com). Brazell has raised and invested more than $200 million in the past ten years. He is the co-author of "The Idea Economy"TM and has also served on the board of the Deseret Foundation, an organization that provides predictable surgical care to children in 12 countries and establishes self-sufficient infrastructure in the countries.
Robert Wolf, Chief Executive Officer
Prior to joining IBN, Rob was an Executive Vice President at VNU, where he created and directed the IMS Advanced Media Analytics Group, working with Nielsen Media Research. From 1999 to 2002, Rob was President of the MediaPlan / Mix Modeling division for Spectra (A.C. Nielsen), part of the Marketing Group of VNU. In 1984, Rob founded MediaPlan, the company that developed the first analytic software systems for media and marketing, used today by major ad agencies and advertisers in over 60 countries around the world. In 1999, MediaPlan was acquired by VNU where it was split and merged with both IMS and A.C.Nielsen. Before founding MediaPlan, Rob worked as an international taxation expert for Arthur Anderson & Co. In San Francisco. Rob is a Graduate of University of California at Berkeley, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Robin Nebel, President and Chief Operating Officer
Robin joined IBN in March, 2007. She was formerly CFO and VP Operations of Ensenda, a technology company for last mile logistics, President and COO of Ellie Mae, the leading provider of software and Internet connectivity for the mortgage industry, and CFO of 800-Software, one of the largest software resellers. She served on the advisory boards of Microsoft, Lotus Development and Ingram Micro, and taught business at the University of California, San Francisco State and Golden Gate University. She received her B.S. and M.B.A. from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
Mark E. Oleksik, Chief Financial Officer
Mark has over 20 years of senior-level financial and management experience in insurance and financial services. Prior to his appointment at IBN, he was executive vice president and chief financial officer for Flatiron Financial Services Inc. (also known as Peak5). He was a member of its executive committee and head of finance and administration in charge of the accounting, payroll, purchasing, treasury, insurance / claims, and internal audit departments. Mark was with Centrix Financial LLC as its chief accounting officer, and was also part of the management team that structured the sale of Centrix’s assets to Peak5. Before joining Centrix, he served as a controller and senior vice president of finance for Alexander & Alexander Services Inc. He also was a senior vice president and regional director for Alexsis Inc, a subsidiary of CNA Financial Corporation. Throughout his career, Mark has also served as vice president, controller, and senior financial officer for ESG Re Limited; director of program business for Everest National Insurance Company; and in various management positions for Uniprise, a subsidiary of United Health Group. He is a Certified Public Accountant. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Maryland, College Park and a master of business administration degree from Loyola College.
Joel Ballstaedt, VP and Controller
Joel has been with IBN since July 2001. Prior to joining IBN, Joel worked in the audit department at Deloitte & Touche, and was the controller at Project Reality, a non-profit substance abuse treatment organization. He holds a B.A. in Accounting, an M.B.A. from the University of Utah and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Doug Burton, VP Creative Services
Doug brings over two decades of experience in broadcast radio (programming radio stations across the country) and marketing & advertising (leading a full service advertising agency) to IBN. He has built an exceptional team of designers, writers, and producers, establishing IN Creative Services as a premier industry supplier of radio and interactive creative solutions. Doug's teams have worked with many of the top consumer packaged goods companies to dramatically increase market share and R.O.I. through in-store media.
